Community Garden

The Community Garden is located behind Tabernacle Community Church and is the home of dozens of plots “owned” by various individuals and families in the Alger Heights neighborhood. Frequently, this community of gardeners comes to plant, to weed, and to harvest the garden as well as to hang out, grill hotdogs, play volleyball and enjoy fellowship together. It is a wonderful, tangible representation of the joy neighbors get from being together.

Upcoming Garden Activities:

• Every Tuesday at 7pm in the Community Garden is the un-official garden work time

• May 22 @ 11am  Garden Planting Day
• May 23 @ 5pm  Garden Worship Service with community churches
• September 18 @ 1pm Garden Harvest Festival

Everyone is welcome to attend everything!
