“One Church Member…One Child…One Hour.”

Adult members of Alger Park Church are invited to come along side a child attending Ken-O-Sha Elementary School for one hour a week.

Volunteers are trained to become mentors and friends to a child at a critical time in their lives when values are formed, self-esteem is developed, and basic academic and problem-solving skills are acquired.

One prayer partner is also matched to each adult/child relationship. No doubt this program has had a beautiful effect on the Children of Ken-O-Sha School, but just as much, Alger Park Church.
