Sunday Activities

Nursery

A loving nursery is provided for infants (newborn-18 months) and toddlers (18 months-3 years old) during the morning and evening worship service. The nurseries are staffed by a trained and CPR certified “Nursery Supervisor” and volunteers from the congregation. The nurseries are fully equipped with safe and age appropriate toys. There is also a paging system to call parents if their child needs them.

Little Lambs

Little Lambs is a program designed especially for 3 and 4 year old children. Little Lambs meets during the entire morning worship service from September-May, with a few breaks for holidays. The children begin the morning together in a large group for singing and then move to their age appropriate classrooms for a Bible story, crafts and activity centers. Children must be either 3 or 4 years old by December 1 of the current year to attend Little Lambs.

Children’s Worship

Children leave the morning worship service, usually during the offering, to participate in a worship experience designed especially for their level of understanding. This program encourages movement, creativity and hands on experiences that encourage children to respond to God’s stories in a multi-sensory way. Children must be 5 years old by December 1 of the current year to participate in this program. The program concludes with the children joining together for a time of singing. Dismissal is at 11:15. Children’s worship meets September-May.

Sunday School

Children in 2nd-6th grades are invited to Sunday School on Sunday mornings from September-May with a few breaks for holidays. They gather for refreshments immediately following the morning worship service followed by a time of singing. At 11:00 they break into grade level groups for their class. Dismissal is at 11:40.

Sonshine Club

SonShine Club is a summer program for children who are 3 years old (by June 1 current year) through children entering first grade (fall current year). SonShine Club meets during the entire morning worship service during June/July/August. Children spend time each Sunday singing, hearing a Bible story, making a theme related craft and enjoying a snack.
